Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The council of the Chamber of Commerce considered the holiday question this afternoon, and a motion was carried to the effect that the Minister be informed that as far as Auckland district was concerned, Monday would be an inconvenient day to De fixed as a public holiday. It waß pointed out that, the mails arrived and left' Auckland on Mondays, and it would be vety inconvenient for business people.
