THREAD MILLS' STRIKE.
OPERATIVES RESUME WORK. London, October 4. Coats' cotton mills at Ferguslie, which were closed owing to the intimidation of their employees by the strikers frOm Clark's Paisley mills, have reopened. Negotiations for the settlement of the (truce of Clark's employees are progressing. Received Oct. 0, 5 p.m. London. October J. Clark's disaffected workers hue resumed work at the thread mills on the understanding that their grievances will be enquired into.
