After the riot hid been quelled, students and hooligans gathered on the roof* of Xorthem Calcutta and pelted trams and pasgers with brickbats. Europeans were singled out for attack. The Bengali newspapers blame the police lor the affray, alleging that the situation was created in order to throw discredit fen Mr Keir Hardie.
