In consequenoe'of"reporters refusing to withdraw froiri the Wairau River Board meeting when the Board went into committee, the chairman read opinions from the Speaker of the House (Mr. A. E. Guinness) and the editor of the Weekly Press to the effect that they must retire. The Express reporter, howrever, still refused to go, and' the Board adjourned, leaving the matter under consideration to be dealt with by the committee.
