LONDON MAROua. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages trom their London house, under date of the 19th instant:— Butter.—The Copenhagen official quotation is higher by 2 kroner (about 2s 3d) per cwt. The total imports of butler into the United Kingdom for the week ending 7th September amounted lo 73,00i)cwt, as compared with 72,000 cut for the corresponding week of 1900. A further rise in prices is expected, except for inferior quality. Wool.—The list of arrivals is closed, file new arrivals amounted to 105,900 bales, of wliitl; 38,500 bales have been forwarded direct to manufacturers al Home and abroad, leaving 91,000 bales ivailable for sale, which includes 24,000 oales carried forward from July series. Wheat—The market is very dull, and there is nothing doing. Sales are suspended.
