Facing tite entrance is a nice showing of colored and mercerised linens, including tile popular "ilaid" do til, ill pale blue, grey, navy, pink uiji. white, from Is a yard up. The centre tables are decorated with muslins in lloral and check designs (including Orgaudis French muslins), voiles, plain and iigured merlau'iis, black and white mercerised voiles, new desig/is from Ud a yard. There is a line range I of wool and silk delaines, handsome I patterns in stripes, spots and llowers, running from Is Ud to 3s 3d a yard. A strong point is the display of shirt cambrics for suininei wear, which will be in everyday demand. Patterns are choice, with stripes, broken stripes and spots, from 9d a yard. Delainettes are of navy, with white spots and llowers, from The dress tables are decorated with the latest fashionable shjdes, with trimmings to match. All the better classes of goods are in robe lengths. The famous "Admiralty" serge, practically the best procurable, is displayed in navy, black and cream, and Priestley's mohairs in black, plain and figured. Then there are, woollen voiles, taffeta and silk voiles, and a choice line in colored cashmeres, the | prices in this department ranging from Is 2d to os (id a yard. The Sine along the left Bide of the entrance contains a great display of white muslins in practically every conceivable design, inclusive of ligured Indian linens from Is 3d a yard. The centre line carries a line cnoice of cotton dress materials, interspaced .with leather boas and motor scarves. These will stand the test of price and quality. The millinery is superb. There are lovely Paris models, all prices to 355, mostly ill crinolines and fancy straws, trimmed with chiffon, net llowers, and new lloral ribbons and nets. Ready-to-wear and untrimmed Shapes are in great profusion. Scarves in flowered chiffon, Maltees and other laces, mruke a pretty Bhow. The sunshades are very pretty this year, in all colors. There is a large variety of white skirts from 4s fid to 355, and silk skirts from 26s 6'd to 32s Cd. Long Suede gloves are priced at 8s fid, anil long kid (the latest bea-f ver shades) at (is 9d. There is a good showing of this line. Mention must be made of Hie fancy bolts, in silk elastic, all shades. The children's department contains very pretty goods for the little folks, particularly in triinnicijjiillinerv. Concluding, we quote the Home buyers' note: ''There are many other lines of fancy goods enclosed, which, we think, you will be pleased with. In almost every case blouses and skirts have been liought job." The spring and i summer goods are on sale now.
