11. Woodhouse, sharcbroker, informs us that Wailii shares saw a considerable drop yesterday, sales taking place at *S Bs. The cause of the drop is on account of a slight creep in the upper levels of the mine, doubtless caused by the recent heavy rainfalls. Mr. Woodhouse received the following wives from his Auckland brokers: "Slight creep upper levels, Wailii. Nothing serious. Good buying on drop." Later: "Almost certain market bottom; last sales £S Ss; will wire again morning." Investors cannot do better than take advantage of the market in its present state, as nothing serious has occurred, and the returns will be up to average; the shares should therefore rise right away. Attention is drawn to Mr. Woodhouse's guarantee on page 2.
Mr. John McMahon, herbalist, hair, eye, and kidney specialist, from Wellington, notifies elsewhere that he may lie consulted at the Coffee Palace, New Plymouth, for two weeks from to-day, lsth inst. Particulars in advertisement.
