The exchange of dates between the Stratford and Opunakc Racing clubs should prove most acceptable to owners, and also a source of satisfaction to all the clubs concerned as well as the racing public. The Stratford club will hold its meeting on January Ist and 2nd, the Opunakc club racing on March 17th (the date formerly hold by (he Stratford Racing club)* As the Taranaki .lorkey Club meeting lakes place on 2;ith and 27th December, there will consequently be four days racing during the holiday week. This fact should induce larger entries from owners for the Christmas and New Year racing in Taranaki than have hitehrto prevailed.
