WELLINGON INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Wellington Industrial Association was held to-night. Mr. J. P. Luke, speaking to the motion for the adoption of the report, expressed appreciation of the Government's action regarding the new tariff. He believed the tariff was not altogether In keeping with the desires of Borne members of the association, as'it did not go as far as they desired, but he considered tha new tariff would considerably improve the position of the colony's industries. Mr. F. C. Crease was elected president for the ensuing year. The incoming committee was instructed to take steps towards reforming the Industrial Corporation of New Zealand.
