Per Press Association. " Napier, Saturday Night, At the golf championship meeting today, the semi-final round of the New Zealand Amateur Championship was played. IT. P. Lusk beat H. D. Ramford 4 up and 3 to play, and A. Duncan beat C. Smith 5 up and 3 to play. Roth losers were palpably nervous at starting, but Smith improved considerably as the game progressed, and played capital golf. Duncan, however, was too good, doing the first nine holes in 38. In the mixed foursomes Dr. Rernan and V. F.. Kettle won with a net score of inl (sic). ('•. M. Morris and E. R. Dymock being second with 81, and W. f. Fcacock and 11.
