VICKERS AND STEVENS' REPORT

Messrs \ ickers and Stevens report that there was a full yarding of cattle in their Inglcwood yards on Wednesday, although the weather wa» very and cattle did not look well. ' Nearly everything changed hands, as follows: Mixed yearlings £1 l s to £1 13s, old store cows £1 to £1 15s, good stores £2 to £2 18s, springers £2 10s to £5 7s (id, bulls £2 14s to £3 2s.

At Tarata on Monday there was a fair yarding. Empty heifers made £1 ISs, yearling heifers 10s, springers £3 to £4 ss.

At Mr Claude Cartwright's sale on Tuesday there was a good attendance. Backward cows made from £2 to £3 us, forward cows £3 12s t!d to £5 2s fld, chestnut gelding £24 10s, mower £9 2s (Id, and sundries at fair prices.

JENKINS, MATTHEWS & PIGOTTS REPORT. At Ureuui on Monday the yarding of cattle was not so largo as we usually get, owing to the wet weather prevailing, but nearly every line changed hands either at the hammer or privately. We quote: Mixed yearlings 28s Od, 20montlis heifers 30s, 20-months steers Jos, 2-year steers 08s, 3-year steers 05s, store cows alia to 545, springing heifers ooa to 67s (id, ditto cows 02s to 07s Od, cows and calves 50s, stags 445, geldiiiir £lO, express £lO. b We had a rather small muster at our Waitara yards on Tuesday, but sold nearly everything at the following prices:—Yearlings 20a, store cows 30s to 525, empty heifers 35s to 40s, springing heifers 40s to 70a, hoggets 14a, fat SHAREMARKET. R.
