"MOTHER GOOSE."
Some variation from the usual arrangements in connection with the booking for "Mother Goose," when the plan opens at the Colonial Piano Company's premises to-morrow, has been found necessary owing to the large number of inquiries and the nature of applications made at the box office. The management promise that the plan will be absolutely clear, with the sole exception of the usual Press reservations. No application to allocate seats to large parties prior to the opening of the plan has been, or will be, considered. In order to give the general public fair all round treatment the management intend to restrict the sale of seats to any one person to ten; considering the limited amount of accommodation in the local theatre, this seems to bo a reasonable provision, it was first introduced during the Australian tour, when attempts were made to speculate in seats, people coming, as one of our exchanges reported, "to order them by me dozen, like so much fruit." In every centre of Australia, and also so.far as the company's experience has extended m New Zealand, "Mother Goose" has broken all booking records, and it is also safe to predict that there will be exceptionally heavy booking here. Every possible arrangement will be made to prevent crowding at the plan, and the management wish it distinctly understood that the applicants for seats will be dealt with strictly on the principle of "first- come first served."
