CONGO JUSTICE. ,- , "< ■ ■.•••■ '."CTWg London, August 28. According to a telegram received from a missionary in the Congo, the Court of Appeal at Boma quashed the conviction; of the Rev. Edgar Stannard for libelling Major Hagatrom,The Belgian Polioe Commandant at Basankusu, in connection with the Belgian atrocities. Stannard was convicted in July, 19011, and ordered to pay a fine of 1000 francs.
