At the hearing of a charge against the man Perfect of having assaulted his nephew, a youth named Hope, family troubles, alleged to have been caused by the latter, were stated to be the origin of the trouble. Hope admitted that lie had procured a gun barrel from his man, but said he intended to use it in selfdefence. Perfect was fined £lO and costs, and bound over to keep the peace in. three sureties of £SO each.
