ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Auckland, August 23. A Maori named Jerry Petea had his back broken through a log rolling over him while he was engaged in hauling logs at ltenana, near Mongonui. Ho | died last night. Auckland, August 23. A married woman named Augusta BiUett was found dead this morning at Mkftu with her head in a tub of watei. it is not known how the fatality happen ed. An inquest is being held.
