STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT OF BOARD OF TRADE. NO FOUNDATION FOR REPORTED ABANDONMENT. Received 18th, 11.19 p.m. London, July 18. The Right Hon Lloyd-George, President Of the Board of Trade, statea thai there is BO foundation for the reported abandonment of the All Red route. Canadian evidence in still unfinished, while no Australian or New Zealand testimony was yet heard, and since the enquiry was not nearly concluded, the committee had not arrived at a decision.
