DAY AGAIN DEFEATS McLACHLAN. Per Press Association. Auckland, June 29. About 3000 people witnessed the professional match between Day, the Irish champion, and McLaehlan, the New Zealand champion, on the Domain Cricket Ground to-day. McLaehlan won the 130 yards event in 13 l-ssecs, while the Irish champion won the 300 yards by four yards in 31 l-ssec, and the 175 yards in 17 l-ssec. The track was heavy.
