GERMAN IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRY
SERIOUS DIMINUTION IN ORDERS. LATE BOOM ABOUT ENDED. Received 10th, 11.53 p.m. Berlin, June 10. The Dusscldorf Iron and Steel Exchange announces a serious diminution in orders. This, coupled with other information, is interpreted to mean that the boom the fierman industry lias enjoyed since 1302 is about ended. The high bank rate, a concomitant of the boom, had an advantage which is now apparent, of preventing many manufacturers from enlarging their works.
