The annual meeting of the Country .Schools Committees' Association was held to-day under the pesidency of Sir T. McKenzie, Mil.ll. A large number of delegates was present from all parts of Dingo, and resolutions were adopted in favor of the payment of learners ior doing seventh standard work; adequate sialling of schools, restoration to Educalion Hoards of the Iniilding vote, upkeep of school buildings by Education Hoards; erection of shelter sheds by Boards; addition of rooms to schools for changing wet garments, facilities for obtaining equal opportunities for country children as for city children; free travelling to pupils attending technical classes over a si.\ty mile limit; election by the Hoard pf a teacher of aptitude in imparting instruction in agriculture, and a reeomMicndalion to the Government to defray lie oust of two years' instruction fo. lln same in an uplo-date institution in American and Europe in order to fully ■ lua-'.'y to give instruction in this colon}.
