At Inglewood on Tuesday Mr. C. L. Burkitt was married to Miss C. R -iamcs. A welcome social was tendered to Rev. W. S. Bowie and .Mrs. Bowie at Stratford on Tuesday evening. Mr. X. J. King is to be tendered a complimentary social at Stratford this evening. Mr. King has been Mayor of Stratford for the past four years. At a quiet wedding ceremony on Wednesday Mr. E. Dingle was united in matrimony to Miss Cassie McCoy, second daughter of Mi\ J. McCoy. The newlvweddcd couple went north by last night's steamer, and the. honeymoon will be spent in Auckland.
