RAND MINE LABOR
A COMMISSION OF ENQUIRY. I Pretoria, April 8. The Transvaal Government has appointed Mr. Stoikenstroon (chairman;, Messrs. Spencer and Fraueke (representatives of the .Mines), Cresswell (a White Labor advocate), and Whiteside (a L'boiite), as a Commission to iui.uire i.s to the possibility of moie white labor in the mines: also as to mechanical substitutes for colored labor.
