LONDON MARKETS. Dalgetv and Company Ltd., Wellington, have received the following crfbles from London, dated 4th instant:— Frozen Meat.—Better demand for land)—principally for finest qualities. Fair demand for mutton. Poor demand for beef. We quote:—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heam 5%d, light. s'/,d; ditto, North Wand, heavy, 4%d. liftht,, 4%d; New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy, 3%d, light, 4%d; ditto. North'island, heavy, 3%d, light 4d; New Zealand prime ox beef, fores 2%d, hinds, 3%d. Butter.—The Copenhagen oflicial quotation is lower by 4 kroner (about 4/6) per cwt. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 30th March amounted to 83,000 cwt. as compared with 00,000 ewt. for the corresponding week of 1900. TaPow—Market very dull: nothing doing. Failing renewal of Russian demand, expect a gradual decline in prices.
