Williams, of the Waipiro Club, who was acting as substitute for Earl Williams, who was injured last Wednesday, was thrown from his pony, aud sustained a dislocated shoulder and broken arm. Wellington then withdrew, having no plaver to 1111 the vacaucv. This gave the game to Rangitekei. Wellington A (10) beat llawkc's Bay (2) by 15 goals to 8.
