ILLUSORY CONCESSIONS.
Rome, February 26. The Vatican complains that M. Briand's (Minister for Public Worship! latest concessions are illusory, and pro tests against the exclusion of foreign cures, though the Bill admits Protestants and Dutch Jews. It also complains that members are expelled from religious congregations who are prohibited from being monks and therefore must live as priests. Becived 27, 11.25 p.m. Pfbis, February 27.
Tha French Senate passed the Bill authorising all public njeetings without previous notification to the authorities.
