ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Assocation. Blenheim:, December 6. A man named Walker, a steward on board the river steamer Opawa, was | drowned in the Opawa river whilst bathing. It is supposed that deceased was seized with cramp. Walker came from London, and had only been a I few months in the colony. He was I aboilt 22 years of age and unmarried.
