Per Press Association. Christchurch, November 20. Small holders of selling rights tomplain bitterly of the shortness 01 trade at the Exhibition. They say the side-shows are securing all the money, and (mall retailers do! far better in the city. The larger holders, hpwever, say they arc doing unexpectedly well, and what tney have to offer is in demand by visitors. viho do not even haggle over prices. T- ■ :rnall retailer? were very despondent vestcrday and to-day- The attendance at thq Exhibition 1= very small, but the evening attendance yesterdav improved. The Fijian* arc making great projuess with tneir bul.dmg. The attendance at the Exhibition to-<lay was 9281, which brings the total to date to 268,090.
