RAHOTU.
FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. The Rev. T. Fi-hel (Church ,'ofl England), w',lo was recently appointed to the charge of the Okato parish, held service in the Rahotu hall on Sunday morning for the first time. There was a good congregation. Mr Glentworth, who has been to F.ng ai.d for a trip of some month'!' duration, returned home) on Friday ificrnoon.
The annual picnic in connection with the Rahotu Rifle Club, which was to have been held l ist Friday but was spoilt by the weather, is to be held on Wednesday, November 21. The social is also to be held the same evening.
Another competition for the trophy was fixed on Saturday at the rifle range, and resulted in a win for Mr A. Chapman. Subjoined are the scores. 500 too hep. tl. A.
