BRICKWORKERS' UNION DISPUTE.
r Per Press Association. 1 Dcnbdin, September 5. The Arbitration Court was engaged to-day with the Bfickmakers' dispute. The principol points appear to be shortening , the: hours of burners by employing throe shifts, and a definition in regard to the employment of youths, the Union alleging that one firm had discharged several men to replace them with 'youths. For the manufacturers much was said as to the competition expected from lime-sand bricks, the manufacture of which, it is said, is about to be commenced'on an extensive scale. •
