On November 13th lust, the deceased vas in charge of horses near the Devoiporfc Wharf, when the horses became startled by the testing of water by a Council official, and he was killed. After hearing evidence as to the circumstances attending the accident, the fury awarded £925 damages to be lividcd betweon Mrs Rogers and her •children.
