ANTI-GAMBLING CRUSADE.
PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, August 24. An anti-gambling demonstration promoted by the Council of Churches to-night, was attended by about a hundred people.. On the motion of the Bishop of a resolution was carried- deploring the prevalence of gambling, and calling upon citizens to assist in its suppression.
