Mus Thompson, formerly of Wanganni, and lately resident ia Auckland. died recently Her will, as proved shows that about £IO,OOO has been bequeathed for the maintenance of s home for incurables at Auckland. It » ascertained now that Miss Tliomp son was also the anonymous donor some tune ago of £SOO to the Blind Institute. About the same time several other institutions received similar sums, as from a lady who wished her name to be kept private.
