SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
I'EB MESS association. ArcKr.A.vii, Avgust 22. A serious accidout befell a reserve signalman named Matthew firry, aged 27 years, at the Calliope Dock this afternoon. He was was walking ilong a i angway from the doek to the warship Pioneer, when he slipped and fell to the bottom of the (lock. When pieked up he was unconscious,apparently suffering from very severe Injuries to the head. Temporary medical aid was rrnlerel, and he was subsequently brought across to the hospital.
