Melboiene, July 31. Members of churches and other bodies passed a resolution supporting the Bey. Worrall. Soue hundreds of people propose to accompany him on the special train to Melbourne. AT THE*BAR OF THE HOUSE. LIVELY DEBATE PROCEEDING. Received August Ist, 1.9 a.m. MELBOURNE, July 31The departure from Bendigo of the ■pecial train conveying the Rev. Worrj.ll and some 3XI of his supporters was the occasion of a remarkable demonstration. Tho streets wore lined with spectators, and business for a timo was practically snspended. Escorted by members of his church, carrying a Hag bearing the words, " Hold the Fort," he marched to the station, where' several thousand people hid congregated. Appropriate hymns were sung, and prayers were offered at the train, amid a scene of great enthusiasm.

Similar scenes were enacted at manv stations en route to Melbourne.

Several thousand people awaited his arrival in the city, where he and his supporters were greeted with cheering and singing of "Onward, Christian Soldiers."

At the Bey- Worrall's re uest, there was no demonstration in the streets, and he drove quietiy away in a cab.

On his arrival at Parliament House, where a strong force of police was in attendance, another big crowd ovationed him. On ;appearing at the Bar of the House, the Rev. Mr Won all, in reply to the Speaker, admitted making the statements, and read a lengthy document supporting then. The Premier, Mr Bent, moved " that Mr Worrall was guilty of a breach of privilege in uttering a false, un-ChrhT tiaa and malicious libel upon members of the House, and that he be severely censured."
