I'Bli MUSS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, July 10. The hospital committee of the Auckland Hospital Board rcportod thai they could not recommend the opening of a dental room in connection with tho hospital. The chairman said thaithe committee had carefully considered the matter and touncl that it would involve a large annual expenditure, He suggested that the Dental Association might approach the Government direct, the Board having sufficient to do to attend to hospital and charitable aid matters. Mr Bagnal said that (he question was too important to be dismissed in so abrupt a manner. He suggested that a room might have been secured in tho present buildings at a cost of £250 a year for a man in charge. Mr Bloomtiold was satisfied that dental work did mt eomo within the scope of the Act. Mr Bruce thought, the cost should not fall on tho ratepayers. The report was adopted.
