PROHIBITION OF VEGETABLE FAT ADULTERATION. "JIIIK BLENDED" TO BE SOLD AS SUCH. Keceired 11, 9.33 p.m. Londos, July 11. The Butter Committee has presented its report, which will be issued shortly. It is understood the recommendations limit moisture to 16 "per cent., insist on the registration and inspection of factories and prohibit the addition of rentable fat. It is not proposed to interfere with milk blended butter, but it is suggested that such should be sold under a special name. The Committee suggests the importation of adulterated butter, proportionate to the magnitude of consignments
