A GELIGNITE EXPLOSION. PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION, Oahabu, July 3. A small cottage at Kakanui, occupied by a man named Young, was blown to pieces on Saturday night. Young used\ geliptnite in his occupation, and had' a quantity in tlie cottage. Some neigh- « bots, observing a fire in the place, were moving over towirds it, when the cottage was blown to pieoes by a violent explosion. They had a narrow escape. Young was away at the time. The explosion was heard miles away.
