Mr Seddon had a furthering conference with MrDeaKnonthe reciprocal tariff question.. At a meeting of the Exhibition Commissioners the reduction of passage rates still was urged. Tho Hudijaft Parker and Union Company are to jive a final answer before Tuesday. Mr Bent, Premier of Victoria, promised to double the oontribation of Victoria for Exhibition purposes. Mr Seddon was accorded an enthusiastic reception at the Commercial Travellers' Club. He visits Ballarat to-morrow and Bendigo on Wednesday.
