BOSTOCK AND WOMBWELL'S CIRCUS AND MENAGERIE.
/ TO-NIGHT. On the grouud opposite tho New Plymouth railway station to-night, the world renowned Bostock and Wombwell's novelty circus and complete menagerie will appear for two nights only. The menagerie is said to bo vory large and valuable, and the novelty circus artists are reported to bo in the vory front rank of their profusion. The principal number on tho programme is the Lukishima troupe of Japanese, six in number, whose acrobatic and balancing feats are said to be really marvellous. There are many others, including Gungi and Dolwi, the men of many instruments; Mons. Menier, the human ostrich; Sienor Bertani, tho Italian marvel, in his marvellous performance on an unsupported ladder; the Pastor Brothers, acrobatic and musical grotesques; Jarvis and Campbell, scientific and comic jugglers; Miss Mona Clare, Parisionue dauseuse ; Happy Jacklcs, tho clown, and his clever performing dogs. Besides all theso artists, Hcrr Hohonahctl, tho celobrated lion tamer, will enter the lions' cage and put his group of Nubian lions through their exciting performance.
Notwithstanding tho expense in - currpd in bringing the complete show to New Plymouth, tho proprietors have adhered to their usual prices for udmission—ss, 3s, and 2s.
