ANDREW BLACK CONCERT.
On Tuesday evening next Mr Andrew Black, the famous baritone, will give a concert in New Plymouth. Fur a number of years Mr Black has been the acknowledged successor of Charhs Santley, and we may feel honored by a visit from so great an artist as Mr Black. Mr Black is one of those versatile artists that aro seldom hoard, and it is pleasing to note that on his programmes are to be found several Scotch songs, such as " The Land o' the Leal, " March of tho Cameron M™,'' "Blue Bonnets," etc., so tlia' there can be no complaint as to the pleasing nature of the items. Mr Black will be supported by Miss Ethel Sinclair, violiniste, whose appearance has evoked great applause. Herr 1 Adolpho Bor s °hke, a Hungarian pianis also a Imember of the company. He is a romarkibly fine young player, and the press throughout the colony describe him as being quite the bost pianist we have heard since Paderewski. Plans and tickets are at the Dresden.
