DENSE FOGS AT NAPIER.

A TRAWLER ASHORE. PUB PHHSS ABBOCITIOS. . Napieb, May 30. A very thick fog enveloped the town and bay this afternoon and evening, and sevoral of tho trawling fleet found difficulty in making port. The trawler Wanona, went ashore about 5 p.m. on tho town boach, about 70 yards beyond the end of the Esplanade. The steamer Fairy and an oil launch Went to her assistance about 8 p.m., but after several unsuccessful attompts to get tho trawler of?, it was deoided to abandon tho task for the night. The trawler Savuii also git on to the beach near the breikwater, lint was subiequenfly got off. Another ira -lor, the Kini, was making in he direction of Potane, bi(t aa th'efiyj is nnv a littl,. less dense, she will probably retu 'n lo port without misha;).
