Mr 1\ W. \V elch, of New Plymouth, left London by the Orontes for New Zealand on Friday. Mr T. Welch has secured some extra bntter agencies, amongst which are Messrs R. and W. Davis, of Glasgow, The Rev. G. W. Dent, viear of Waitiira. has been granted sis months' leave of afasonce, and the Bishop has ap, pointed the Rev. H. R. Jocks, M. A... formerly curate of St. Pelers, Northampton, as his locum lenens. Mr Dent expects to sail for England by the Tougariro pn the 4th of June,
