SUICIDES.
PEB PAESS ASSOCIATION. Napieb, May 6. A man named William White, a dairy farmer and pork butclicr, o! Green Meadows, left home this morning to go to Fernhill, but not having roturned this evening, search was made for him. His horse and cart were found, and a note stuck in his hat which indicated that he intended io commit snicide. Up to the present tho body has not been discovered. Auckland, May 7. The inquest on James Edgar Fenwick, the young man who was found in an emaciated condition in an outhouse on a vacant tenement in Mount street on Wodnesday last, and who died subacquently, was resumed to-day. Evidence was called to show deceased's movements throughout the day upon which ho was last seen. In the evening he visited certain hotels, aud while driving in & cab with a oompanion, remarked that he was going away to Kaipara. He said if eyer lie got into trouble while away, the revolver, which ho, produced, would "do the trick." Medical ovidence wont to show that deceased shot himself. A verdict of suicide whilst temporarily'insano was returned.
