STABBING AFFRAY AT CHRISTCHURCH.
HOTEL LICENSEE ATTACKED. TEIi PiiESS ASSOCIATION". CußisTciiuncir, May 8. A stabbing affray took place at the Railway Hotel to-night, when a boarder named Joseph Brown stabbed the licensee, W. J. Bac, through the hand and in the cheek with a pocket knife. No cause is assgincd for the act. The wounds are not of a serious character.
