PEE PBESB ASSOCIATION. Napieb, April 25. The central district auxilliary of the Baptist Union hold their annual meeting here to-day, Mr G. H. Maunder (New Plymouth) presiding. The annual report showed that since tho establish, ment of the auxilliary in 1890, the number of churches had increased from o to 11, with several branch stations, while the church membership had more than doubled. It was decided to make an appeal for Jhe amount necessary to complete the purchase of land at Eeilding. Resolutions of appreciation of the services rendered by Mr R. Cameron, home missionary at Feilding, who is proceeding to England to complete his studies, and of fraternal greetings to the Rev. C. Richards, formerly of Palmerston North, but now of Vicarville, California, were carried unanimously. The following oflicers were elected for the ensuing year President, Rev, Arthur Dewduey (Wanganui) j Secretary and Treasurer, Rev, W. Lamb (Brooklyn) j Committee, Messrs. Maunder (New Plymouth), C. A. Gaze ( >* anganui), A. Hoby (Wellington), and Revs. J. J, North ("W clliugtou), and P, Mac Donald (Palmerston). Brooklyn (Wellington) was decided upon as tho place of the next meeting.
