FEB MISS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, April 16. At the Lawn Tennis Tournament today, Fisher beat Smythe, 6-0 6-8, and Gore beat Brown 6-4 6-4 in the semifinal of the Men's Championship Singles. The Ladies' Championship Doubles was won by Misses E. Travers and L. Powdrell, who beat Misses A. and M. Ward 6-2 6-4. Young and Fisher beat McLean and Wittenhall in the semi-final of the Handicap Doubles.
Wkluxotox, April 17. At the Lawn Tennis Tournament today, Gore boat Fisher in the final of the Men's Championship Singles, 10-8 0-1. Misses Morgan and Arthur beat Mrs Marchbanks and Miss Simpson in the iiital of tjie Ladies' Handicap Doubles. Miss Ward beat Miss Powdrell in the Ladies' Championship Singles 5-7, <3-2, (j--2. In the Men's Handicap Singles, first grade, Sniythci 8 beat Cook 25, Glt- 53. Men's Handi-! cap Doubles, Brown and Green 18, bent i A, Young and Fisher, owe ten, 70-32, In the Combined Handicap Doubles, Sinythe and Miss Jackson, 5, beat Jackson and Miss Foster 13, 60-46. The final for the Combined Championship Doubles will be played to-morrow. In this Fisher and Mrs Holmes meet Brown and Miss Travers.
ELTHAM v. NEW PLYMOUTH. A return match between teams representing the above clubs was played on the New Plymouth courts on Monday, and resulted in a win lor the local club by 105 games to 00.
