SERIES OF RESOLUTIONS. . FEB FBBSS ASSOCIATION. CnsisTcnuEcn, April 17. The New Zealand Trades and Labor Conference resumed this morning. A motion was adopted affirming the priu. ciple of rating on unimproved valuo, also one approving of local government reform and of the abolition of the sale of Crown lands, and provision for the periodical revaluation of all Crown lauds, held on lease, for a period of oO years from the date of lease or the transfer of the lease to auother party, whiclieyer shall occur iirst. A motion was carried that the resumption of laud for closer settlement be at owners' valuation for taxation purposes, plus ten per cent., tenants to have au absolute right ta their improvements. Ii was also decided that the Government be urged to adopt a self-reliant policy and to cease borrowing except for the redemption of loans. The Conference resumes this luoruiug.
