GOLF NOTES.

Entries for the Easter Championship meeting have come in well. Teams from Auckland, Wanganui, and the local clubs will be competing in the teams match, which will start at 9.30 i.m. on Saturday, concurrently with the Championship. Mixed foursomes will •be played at 2 p.m. the same day. On Mondiy morning, a men's medal handicap, f.r which there are over thirty entries, will be started, and in the afternoon a men's foursomes handicap, in place of the ladies' medal handicap, which is postponed till Tuesday morning. After the final round of the Championship on Tuesday afternoon, the tournament will conclude with a men's bogey handicap of eighteen holes.
