A LONELY DEATH.
PEE I'EESS ASSOCIATION. Cheistchobch, April 1. Henry Maddocks, scventy-eight years of age, living alone in the scrub near the cemetery at Kaiapoi, was found dead in his tent this morning. About ten days, ago he had expressed his intention of going to Christchurch as an out-patient at the hospital. The condition of the body indicated that death had takon place some days ago.
