The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the weekending the 10th instant amounted to 89,000 cwt., as compared with 59.01)11 c.rt. ftr the corresponding period of last year. More demand for unsalted Ihiin salted. Frozen meat : Canterbury frozen mutton, since our last telegram prices are unchanged. North Island mutton, prices are higher by ;',d per lb. Now Zealand frozen lamb, lower liy par to Id per lb. New Zealand frozen beef, prices are unchanged. There is more demand for frozen meat in general. Tallow" : Since our last telegram prices for tallow (medium and inferior descriptions! are higher by 3d to (id per cwt. Prime mutton tallow, lower by Is per ewt. LONDON WOOL SALES. The wool sales opened with a good selection. There is a large attendance of bujers, and competition is vcrv animated.. Merino wools, prices are on the average 5 per cent, higher than closing rates of last series. Fine crossbred wools, 5 to 7\ per cent, higher. Medium and coarse crossbred wools, prices 011 the average are 10 per cent, higher than closing rates of last series. Wheat: Market steady, but not much doing. London, March 17.
