Tile harvest - festival ill the above I'liiirult was brought lo ;i successful fast evening, A ([uartet by members of- tin' (iarristm Band \v;is heartily applauded. Miss Benbow (from 'Wellingtoii) recited with good clTcet a .selection entitled " Inasmuch," and was oven more successful in her second item "Tlic Dandy Fifth." Miss Clarice Buckman rendered "Life's Lullaby" in pleasing style, and later in tlic programme she gave the well known song " Daddy," which was encored, when she gave with much feeling " The New Kingdom." The Key. F. li. William's numbers were "Mona," and "The Landing oE the I'ilgi'iin Fathers," each of which , lie reiulercil with pleasing effect. Miss Douglas was heartily welcomed, anil her song " when the Birds go Korllr Again " met witli cordial appreciation. At the conclusion of the musical programme, Mr (J. Carter tendered a hearty vote of thanks to all who had assisted in securing the siiccc.-s of the festival, and thiajwns carried by acclamation. The fruit and produce was then disposed of, Mr .]. Whitnkcr acting as a most humorous salesman. The financial results were mosi satisfactory.
